Goodwill Keystone, in partnership with Reworld™, is proud to announce receiving the William M. Heenan, Jr. Pennsylvania Recycling Markets Development Award on January 31, 2025. This recognition celebrates our joint efforts in providing free electronic waste (e-waste) recycling services to millions across 22 counties in Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Environmental Impact

Through this initiative, we've successfully diverted 1.4 million pounds of e-waste from landfills, repurposing valuable materials and preventing hazardous substances from harming our environment. This achievement underscores our commitment to sustainability and responsible resource management.

Leadership Acknowledgment

Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis commended the partnership, stating, "This collaboration not only prevents waste but also creates jobs here in the Commonwealth with Goodwill Keystone and Reworld." DEP Acting Secretary Jessica Shirley added that the program provides millions with an environmentally safe option for electronics disposal, highlighting its dual environmental and economic benefits.
