Celebrating 25 Years of Hope and Growth: Clubhouse of Lehigh County Marks Major Milestone

The Clubhouse of Lehigh County, a vital program of Goodwill Keystone Area, celebrated its 25th anniversary yesterday with a special event sponsored by Highmark Wholecare. The celebration, held in Allentown, PA, brought together members, staff, and community supporters for an evening of recognition and reflection.

Since 1998, the Clubhouse has been transforming lives by providing individuals facing mental health challenges with opportunities to develop essential job skills and build meaningful connections. The program follows the evidence-based Clubhouse International model, which emphasizes empowerment, dignity, and community support.

"The Clubhouse represents the heart of our mission to remove barriers and create opportunities," said Chris Stout. "For 25 years, we've witnessed countless success stories of individuals who have found purpose, employment, and community through this program."

The anniversary celebration featured awards recognizing outstanding achievements of Clubhouse members, alongside a dinner that highlighted the strong sense of community that defines the program. Attendees shared stories of personal growth, resilience, and the lasting impact the Clubhouse has had on their lives.

Located in Allentown, PA, the Clubhouse continues to welcome new members seeking support and opportunities for growth. The program demonstrates how Goodwill Keystone Area's commitment to job training and support services creates lasting positive change in our communities.
